I'M BACK!

Yesterday I went to a very special man's birthday. My grandfather. He turned 95 years old. He and my grandmother still live on there own. He does everything himself such as mow, shovel snow, and still drives. When I think of all the things they have seen in their lifetime it truly is amazing! There were no radio's,tv's,and cars were a rare thing when he was born. I'm kinda jealous of all the amazing things that they have been through and witnessed. I don't think my generation will be able to say the same. Happy Birthday Gpa!

  1. Happy B-day to your Grandpa!!! My Great Grandmother lived to be 105 years old. We've had a lot of changes in our lifetime too. Internet, cell phones, the fact that you can see what is going on around the world live. No flying Jetson's cars yet!! But a lot has changed since I was a kid.

  7. What a special day! My maternal grandparents lived until they were 90 and 92. That is so awesome that yours are so independent, so free, and so HEALTHY!!! I so envy you that. And to think of all they have lived to see . . . I cannot even imagine.
Blessings and prayers for many more years of memories together.
Thank you for your sweet comments. They made my day!
